The Okeanos is the winner of the SUP Connect 2019 “Gear of the Year” for Overall Paddle Board and Touring Paddle Board categories.  SIC Okeanos designed as a recreational board that is perfect for exploring, touring, and fitness. The rocker is designed after SIC’s RS race series boards allowing the board to paddle with ease and is capable of maintaining a fast pace and efficient glide. The nose chine in the bow softens the ride in rough waters and tracks extremely well into the wind and in cross-chop. The slightly wider nose and tail along with the full, squared-up rails provides extra stability. The board has been outfitted with numerous tie-downs and inserts to mount your cargo and accessories. To finish it off, the Okeanos oak wood finished composite sandwich construction for board appeal aesthetics.

Technology: Dragon Fly (DF)

The DF construction with a full oak wood veneer wrapping the core – tip-to-tail / 360-degree rail-to-rail wrap replaces SIC’s former TWC construction and takes strength and durability to a whole new level. This construction offers durability at a very economical price. The board is wrapped glass and with the full wood wrap on the rails replaces the need for Innegra™. These boards are also molded for strength and shape Consistency.
