Directional Stability Rating 95

Directional stability refers to how well the board tracks straight in the water. Besides the shape of the board, factors such as wind, waves, currents, fin design and placement, paddler’s position on the board, and paddling technique also influence stability.

Glide Rating 65

Glide is a paddleboard’s ability to move effortlessly through the water. A board’s length and width, as well as its shape and rocker, all affect how it flows through the water. Other factors impacting a board’s speed include wind, waves, currents, fins, and the paddler’s technique and position.

Stability Rating 40

Stability indicates how stable the board is to stand and paddle on. The static stability, i.e., when standing still on the board, is in essence affected by its width, bottom profile, and fin size. The dynamic stability – when the board travels in the water – is also affected by its width, bottom profile, and fin size, but also by the shape of the tail.
