The 2022 Starboard 14′ Adventure Touring Board

The versatile and efficient Starboard Touring SUP that is inspired by the world’s most winning Sprint race board, this model is narrow and square-nosed for a smooth and efficient glide with minimal splash. The secure bag storage just in front of the standing area lowers the center of gravity, giving you more control and stability to carry gear. Plus, our trademark shoulder carry straps, FCS mount, and bungee tie-down on the nose and tail make it easy to take your board on your next adventure.

Designed as a specialised flat-water touring board, the Waterline promises the smoothest and most relaxing paddling sensation in conditions with light chop.

Highlights of the Design

New Thinner and Sharper Nose

The tall, square nose profile limits diving in chop and reduces splashing, providing a silent and smooth glide. The slightly narrower nose outline at the tip has a cleaner entry for a faster glide and improved efficiency. The lower nose rocker extends the waterline for a smoother and faster glide, optimised for flat-water cruising.

NEW Self-ventilating Valve

A self-ventilating air valve is available on the board. This valve is self-ventilating so, it should not be touched or removed – otherwise, you are at risk of damaging the valve system.

NEW Flatter Tail

Creates a cleaner and smoother release, reducing tail wake and increasing glide efficiency.

NEW Recessed Drainage Channel

Helps guide any water in the standing area to flush out quickly at the tail.

NEW Recessed Bag Storage Area

Makes it more accessible to reach and more stable with a lower center of gravity for you to stow gear. The bungee tie-downs help ensure a secured ride for your luggage.

Boxy Rails

Increase the stability of the board and limits water flowing onto the deck, keeping feet and gear dry, essential in cooler climates.

Recessed Standing Area

Provides the paddler with a lower center of gravity for increased stability and control.

Nose and Tail Bungee Tie-downs

• 4 x bungee inserts help secure gear and supplies on the nose.
• With 2 extra bungee inserts on the tail, perfect for carrying gear for longer distance paddlers.

Technology: Lite Tech Technology

15 KG/M Density EPS Core fused and moulded individually to fit each and every Starboard board providing high strength at the lightest weight. Our moulded core technology produces zero EPS wastage.Unidirectional stringer bands and solid with added rail / nose reinforcements.creates extra rigidity. A combination of different fiberglass densities wrap the entire hull for high strength and durability and 0.6mm Australian Pin is placed in the standing areas. Reinforced fin boxes molded with extra strong Akulon Eco, made from upcycled fishing net, wrapped high density foam and sandwiched in over 1000 grams of glass reinforcements.

• Extra rigidity with introduction of unidirectional stringer bands and solid with added rail / nose reinforcements.
• Australian pine on standing area for extra impact resistance and rigidity in the most critical area.
