Road trip to the home town of Badfish SUP, Saladia, Co for the Fibark Festival for whitewater fun, live music and adventure.
2022 marks the 74th anniversary of FIBArk, the nation’s oldest whitewater festival and Salida’s signature event. Since 1949, every June during the Spring snow runoff, Salida has hosted FIBArk, “First in Boating on the Arkansas.”
FIBArk Parade
The annual FIBArk parade is a highlight of the festival. Spectators line streets to cheer everything from horse-drawn wagons, monster trucks, elaborate floats and Hooligan” crafts”, all in a spirited family atmosphere.

River Events
The Festival brings Freestyle Throwdown, FIBArk races like the Hooligan and Downriver races.
